Summer Picnic Series Kickoff

There’s something magical about a summer picnic—easy, joyful, and just a little bit nostalgic. At Trudie, we’re celebrating the season with a picnic series that brings together our favorite details: thoughtful food, cheerful style, and a soundtrack that sets the mood.

Here’s how we’re kicking things off:

What We’re Wearing:
The navy plaid Nap Dress from Hill House is our go-to for picnic season—classic, breathable, and effortlessly pretty. Paired with white espadrilles from Rothy’s for a laid-back polish that’s also kind to your feet (and the planet).

What We’re Packing:
We’re using this darling paper picnic basket from Target (cute and compostable!) to carry a spread that’s simple but special:

• Cheese and crackers (of course)

• Ina Garten’s curried chicken salad

• Ina Garten's Herbed orzo with feta

• Fresh strawberries

• Olive oil cake

• Homemade lemonade (on repeat)

What We’re Listening To:
The Hippie Vibes station on Spotify—think mellow guitars, sunshiney rhythms, and just enough nostalgia to keep it breezy.
